Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community and Estates Management teams in Manchester, delivering high-quality repairs, planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring statutory compliance of building services.

You will inspect faults, perform minor repairs, manage maintenance records, coordinate with contractors, and uphold safety standards to enhance resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school level education with demonstrable written and numerical skills.
• Recognition of a relevant trade qualification (e.g., Building Crafts Operative Certificate, City & Guilds or NVQ).
• Experience in repairs and maintenance in a residential building is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Community team to deliver high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
• Inspect faults and diagnose issues, undertaking minor repairs and organising contractor works.
• Maintain maintenance records and use Onesite to track tasks and communicate with tenants.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring works are compliant and on time.
• Support health and safety by following company guidelines and reporting incidents.
