Think FE Ltd are recruiting a Residential Experience Officer to join the student support team at a college in Northamptonshire. The role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming residential life where students feel valued and supported.

You will organise activities, provide pastoral support and work with staff and external agencies to help students develop independence and belonging within the college community.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in residential, pastoral, youth work or student support roles.
• Excellent communication and active listening.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident in addressing challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.
• Empathetic approach and ability to build positive relationships.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Aufgaben

• Create a welcoming, inclusive and safe residential environment for students.
• Organise and supervise social, sporting and volunteering activities to encourage participation and community engagement.
• Provide pastoral support and act as a trusted point of contact for welfare concerns.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and student wellbeing.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and college policies to maintain a secure environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support.
