The University of Leicester is seeking a Residential Life Team Leader to enhance the student experience in university-managed accommodations. The role involves leading a team of advisors, providing essential support, ensuring student wellbeing, and organizing community events, in a rewarding and dynamic environment.
At the University of Leicester, our students are at the heart of everything we do. As a Residential Life Team Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping their on-campus experience. Based within our Campus Services team, you will lead and supervise our team of Residential Advisors to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of support for students living in university-managed accommodation.
You will act as a key point of contact for residents, providing frontline support for enquiries, incidents, and feedback, while ensuring student wellbeing is prioritised and appropriate services are signposted. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring smooth operations during shifts, coordinating room allocations and arrivals, managing facilities queries, and supporting community-building activities.
In line with our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, you'll also work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders—from maintenance teams to hospitality and conferencing—to ensure our accommodation meets the highest standards.
This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to directly enhance the student journey and help shape the kind of community our residents will remember for life.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Residential Life team who are here to make a difference to our students. Our team is on hand to support, guide, and signpost the University of Leicester students who live with us for up to 52 weeks of the year.
If you answer yes, then please apply now. We look forward to welcoming you to our award-winning team!
Please direct any informal queries to Meg Powers, Assistant Manager (Wellbeing & Engagement), at mp772@le.ac.uk.
