The University of Leicester is seeking a Residential Life Team Leader to shape student experiences on campus. In this role, you will supervise Residential Advisors, ensuring high-quality support and promoting student wellbeing in university-managed accommodation. You'll take a central role in liaising with various teams to enhance the living environment and foster community spirit.
About the role
At the University of Leicester, our students are at the heart of everything we do. As a Residential Life Team Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping their on-campus experience. Based within our Campus Services team, you will lead and supervise our team of Residential Advisors to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of support for students living in university-managed accommodation.
You will act as a key point of contact for residents, providing frontline support for enquiries, incidents, and feedback, while ensuring student wellbeing is prioritised and appropriate services are signposted. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring smooth operations during shift, coordinating room allocations and arrivals, managing facilities queries, and supporting community-building activities.
In line with our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, you'll also work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders—from maintenance teams to hospitality and conferencing—to ensure our accommodation meets the highest standards.
This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to directly enhance the student journey and help shape the kind of community our residents will remember for life.
