Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Childrens Activity Based Support Worker for Gloucester. The role involves overnight stays at the activity centre, delivering care to young people aged 8-18 and leading outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, kayaking and mountain biking.

You will provide daily care, emotional support and structured activities to foster confidence and life skills. The position requires a full UK driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK, and a 39-hour week with a 4 days on, 7 days

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driving license.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Be prepared for a 39-hour weekly shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
• Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities and daily routines.
• Work within a collaborative team to create a safe, caring environment for the children.
• Assist with accommodation-based care during overnight stays and ensure wellbeing.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow DBS requirements as applicable.
