Job summary

Keys Group is hiring a Children’s Activity Based Support Worker in Gloucester to provide overnight safeguarding and day-to-day care for young people aged 8-18. The role blends residential care with adventure-based activities, including mountain biking, rock climbing and kayaking, within a 4 days on/7 days off pattern.

The position requires a full UK driver’s licence, eligibility to work in the UK, and a commitment to 39 hours per week with sleep-in elements. Accommodation and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
• Must be over 21 years old and able to drive.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people and provide daily care.
• Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as rock climbing and kayaking.
• Work within a supportive team to create a safe, caring environment.
• Support personal and social development through structured activities.
