Job summary

Abbatt Group is recruiting a Day Concierge for a modern development in Beckton (E6). The role handles resident and visitor enquiries, parcel logging, and access control with a focus on professional service and safety.

You will log instructions, register new residents, and manage the concierges database daily. Requirements include at least 2 years of concierge experience in residential settings, outstanding communication, and the ability to build trust with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ minimum of concierge experience at a residential establishment.
• Exceptional customer service with high attention to detail and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet residents, visitors and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer queries via telephone, intercom, email and face-to-face in a positive, solution-focused way.
• Receive and log parcels and packages, then hand over to residents with ID/written authority as required.
• Log instructions on the concierge database by apartment number and file appropriately.
• Register new residents with the concierge team and provide login details and Welcome Letter.
• Program door entry fobs/key cards and record contact numbers on intercom panels.
• Forward complaints to Building Manager and assist with contractor access.
• Carry out weekly regulatory tests and inspections and log results.
• Perform site handovers and ensure clear communication of issues to staff.
