Job summary

Harwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant for a 9-month maternity cover in our Residential Conveyancing team in Chandler's Ford. The role supports fee earners by handling quotes, opening files, ID checks and client liaison in a busy office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in residential conveyancing or property administration, be confident communicating with clients, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Office-based, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Residential conveyancing experience preferred or in property administration.
• Good communication with clients and team coordination.
• Organised and detail-oriented with strong diary management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for clients in person, by phone or email.
• Provide quotes and open new files, process client instructions and IDs.
• Follow up with clients, solicitors and agents when needed.
• Review instruction forms, IDs and money laundering checks.
• Obtain title documents from Land Registry and related packs.
• Prepare contracts and arrange searches; maintain diaries.
• Organise team meetings and events as required.
