Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant in Leeds to support a Residential Conveyancing team. The role focuses on assisting fee earners, progressing property transactions, and delivering excellent client service in a busy, growing firm.

You will liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties, while maintaining strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in Residential Conveyancing.
• Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners throughout the conveyancing process.
• Assist with progression of residential property transactions.
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide excellent service.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders, referrers and other third parties.
• Ensure matters are progressed efficiently within required timescales.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Provide general administrative and conveyancing support to the wider team.
