Job summary

Clayton Legal in Leicester is seeking an experienced Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join an established property team. You will support fee earners with residential conveyancing matters and help manage sales, purchases, remortgages and other property transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within residential conveyancing is essential.
• Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Paralegal or similar role.
• Good understanding of the conveyancing process.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with clients and third parties.
• Able to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
• Keen to develop their knowledge and career within conveyancing.

Responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters.
• Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and other property transactions.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Carrying out property searches and dealing with enquiries.
• Assisting with exchange and completion.
• Maintaining accurate case management records.
• Supporting the wider conveyancing team to ensure matters progress efficiently.
