Job summary

SJC Legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Norwich. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions, remortgages and equity transfers.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000 - £55,000 DOE) and an established, collaborative department with opportunities for long-term career progression and close work with local clients and introducers.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced unqualified Conveyancer.
• Experience independently managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload.
• Confident handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions.
• Strong technical conveyancing knowledge and attention to detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity
• Undertake title reviews, raise and respond to enquiries and prepare reports on title
• Manage exchange of contracts and completion processes
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
• Build and maintain relationships with local agents and professional contacts
