Job summary

SJC Legal is recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Nottingham. You will manage your own caseload, handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity, with a focus on client care and efficient progress of files.

The role offers a supportive, established department with opportunities for long-term career development and close relationships with local clients and introducers.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced unqualified Conveyancer.
• Experience independently managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload.
• Strong technical conveyancing knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity.
• Undertake title reviews, raise and respond to enquiries and prepare reports on title.
• Manage exchange of contracts and completion processes.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors.
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care.
• Build and maintain relationships with local agents and professional contacts.
