Job summary

Clayton Legal seeks a Conveyancer to join a progressive law firm with a strong presence in Yorkshire and the North East. You will advise clients on freehold and leasehold residential property transactions, manage a varied caseload, and contribute to the growth of the Residential Property department.

The role offers hybrid working options and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while proactively identifying business leads and supporting department development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients, agents, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on freehold and leasehold residential property transactions.
• Manage caseload including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and related transactions.
• Support the Residential Property team and assist in department growth and marketing efforts.
• Develop and sustain long-term client relationships aligned with the firm’s values.
