Job summary

Edwards & Pearce in central York seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancer for a part-time role, ideally 4 days a week, with some flexibility for one work-from-home day.

You will manage a full residential caseload from instruction to completion, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity while drafting contracts and reviewing title documents. A strong client-facing approach and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of residential conveyancing experience.
• Excellent organisational, communication and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Handle sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Draft and review contracts, leases and legal documentation.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other parties.

• Provide clear, professional advice and regular client updates.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
