Qualifications

• Conveyancing fee earner: 3 years (required)

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other parties to facilitate transactions.
• Prepare and review contracts, transfer deeds and SDLT forms.
• Conduct property searches and liaise with external authorities as required.
• Ensure transactions comply with legislation and internal quality standards.
• Keep clients informed of progress via phone or email.
• Organise workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain accurate case files and utilise IT systems for case management.

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our team, offering flexibility with a hybrid (2 days week) and/or fully office-based working arrangement. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes. We would be open to applications from those who seek to manage or be mentored to manage the department; in which case the duties would include supervision and team building.
