Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer in Lincoln to manage a varied caseload from instruction through post-completion.

You will own your files with autonomy, build strong client relationships and deliver a high-quality service within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the full residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent organisation, communication and IT skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and to deadlines.
• Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors' Accounts Rules.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion and post-completion.
• Handle sales, purchases and related residential property transactions.
• Conduct searches and prepare contract documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Manage exchange, completion and SDLT requirements.
• Maintain accurate case records and time recording.
• Work towards agreed fee income targets.
• Support business development and convert new instructions.

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for your next move with an established firm that offers stability, support and a strong benefits package?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the residential property team in Lincoln, managing your own varied caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion.

You'll have the autonomy to take ownership of your files, build strong client relationships and deliver a high-quality service within an established and supportive team.

The Role

You'll manage a full residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Managing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Sales, purchases and associated residential property transactions.
• Conducting searches and preparing contract documentation.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Managing exchange, completion and SDLT requirements.
• Maintaining accurate case records and time recording.
• Working towards agreed fee income targets.
• Maintaining high standards of compliance, quality and risk management.
• Supporting business development and converting new instructions.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer who can confidently manage their own caseload and work to deadlines.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong knowledge of the full residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent organisation, communication and IT skills.
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Good knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
• Legal Executive or Solicitor qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience with SOS Connect would be beneficial but isn't essential.
