Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Handle sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, and related matters.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts and legal documentation.
• Conducting searches and progressing transactions efficiently.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties.
• Managing exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities.
• Generating new business opportunities and quotations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with local estate agents.
• Supporting cross-referrals across other legal departments.
• Maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedures.

The Role

You will manage a busy and varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, delivering a high-quality service to clients while building strong relationships with estate agents and referrers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Handling sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, and related matters

• Building and maintaining relationships with local estate agents
• Supporting cross-referrals across other legal departments
• Maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload
• Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Experience using case management systems
• Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Accounts Rules
• A proactive and commercial approach to business development
