Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Concierge for The Tower in London. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the building is safe and welcoming.

The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rolling rota, 7:00–19:00, with duties including building checks, CCTV monitoring, deliveries, and access control. As part of a team that supports an inclusive culture, you will address queries and emergencies with calm professionalism,

Qualifications

• Front of House experience in residential or hospitality setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Able to use initiative and prioritise workload
• Confident handling complaints and difficult situations

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents and guests
• Conduct regular building checks; keep communal areas clean and secure
• Handle queries, complaints and emergencies with calm and courtesy
• Monitor CCTV and manage visitor access
• Manage deliveries and post per company procedures
• Issue and log keys responsibly
• Address cleaning and maintenance issues; contribute to inclusive culture
