Job summary

Dove Adolescent Services is hiring Residential Childcare Support Workers across Yorkshire to support young people aged 8-18, providing safe, nurturing homes and personalised care. Base salary is £20,604.47 pro rata for unqualified staff, with sleep-in shifts increasing earnings, and higher rates for qualified staff (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent) at £21,037.30 pro rata.

The role requires safeguarding and building trusting relationships, with a flexible rota and weekend/bank holiday sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to support and engage with young people
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and sleep‑in shifts
• Prior experience in care welcome but not essential - training provided
