Job summary

Dove Adolescent Services in Yorkshire seeks part-time Residential Childcare Support Workers to provide safe, nurturing homes for young people aged 8-18 across Pontefract, Wakefield, Eggborough and Barnsley.

Working 20 hours per week, you will safeguard wellbeing, build trusting relationships, support development and participate in activities while sleep-in shifts are included in a flexible rota. Training towards a Level 3 Diploma or Level 4 Apprenticeship is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare or supporting young people.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to train and gain relevant qualifications.

Base Location: With services in Pontefract, Wakefield, Eggborough and Barnsley we currently have vacancies throughout

Specific Hours: 20 hours per week

Unqualified: Base salary of

£26,785.82 FTE), with the potential to earn up to

£15,894.86 per annum with sleep‑in shifts.

Qualified (full diploma Level 3 qualified or equivalent): Base salary of

£27,355.29 FTE), with the potential to earn up to

£16,192.03 per annum with sleep‑in shifts.
