Job summary

Dove Adolescent Services is hiring Residential Childcare Support Workers across Yorkshire to support young people aged 8-18, providing safe, nurturing homes and personalised care. Base salary is £20,604.47 pro rata for unqualified staff, with sleep-in shifts increasing earnings, and higher rates for qualified staff (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent) at £21,037.30 pro rata.

The role requires safeguarding and building trusting relationships, with a flexible rota and weekend/bank holiday sleep-ins.

Job description

Base Location: With services in Pontefract, Wakefield, Eggborough and Barnsley we currently have vacancies throughout

Specific Hours: 30 hours per week

Unqualified: Base salary of £20,604.47 pro rata (based on £26,785.82 FTE), with the potential to earn up to £24,924.47 with sleep‑in shifts.

Qualified (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent): Base salary of £21,037.30 pro rata (based on £27,355.29 FTE), with the potential to earn up to £25,357.30 with sleep‑in shifts.
