Job summary

Break Charity in Sheringham is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to provide safe, consistent care for young people in our homes. You will support emotional and physical wellbeing, be a positive role model and work with our therapeutic services to help each young person heal and grow.

The role requires completing a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months, a full UK driving licence, and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Must complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months
• Full UK driving licence required
• Enhanced DBS check required
• Eligibility to work in the UK per UKVI guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, consistent and child-centred care for young people in our homes
• Support emotional and physical wellbeing and help rebuild confidence
• Work closely with colleagues and Break’s therapeutic services to help each young person feel valued and supported
