Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Residential Childcare Practitioner in Newtonmore. You will support young people with daily routines and activities in a warm home setting, with emphasis on safety, trust, and emotional support.

What You’ll Do

As a support worker, you will support young people with their daily routines, getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities. You will also:

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Atha Mor is a beautiful, welcoming home based in the Scottish highlands- sitting on a lot of land ensuring our young people have a safe space to live and thrive. We are registered to support 4 young people who may be effected by learning disabilities and or complex behaviours.
