Job summary

Randstad Care is seeking two permanent Residential Support Workers in Exeter to provide consistent and caring support for young people with emotional and social challenges. The role focuses on creating a stable, safe home environment with predictable routines and positive engagement.

You will participate in training, support with daily activities, and maintain detailed records while working a full-time rota that includes varied shifts to ensure round-the-clock care.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles such as Support Worker or Care Assistant is preferred.
• Willing to complete the Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People.
• Excellent communication and resilience in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Establish Safety: Deliver predictable daily routines that help dysregulated youth feel secure and supported.
• Community Engagement: Support young people during social activities, sports, and educational outings.
• Detailed Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs to support therapeutic care goals.
