Qualifications

• Experience in residential care, mental health, or similar field preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Willingness to use electronic care recording systems; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to children and young people.
• Assist with daily routines, including bedtime, personal care, and activities.
• Help young people manage emotions and behaviours effectively.
• Promote a safe and caring environment for residents.
• Record and report on progress and wellbeing of children.
• Collaborate with team members, families and external professionals.
