Role involves building trusting relationships, assisting with daily activities, education, and personal care, while contributing to care planning and safeguarding. PVG checks apply; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient approach to children and young people.
• Commitment to SSSC registration and ongoing training.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and sleepovers.

Responsibilities

• Build warm relationships with children and young people.
• Provide safe, inclusive residential care and support daily routines.
• Assist with education, activities, and personal care.
• Support independence and participation in decisions.
• Contribute to care planning, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Work with families and partner agencies; safeguard responsibilities.
