Job summary

Exceptional Care in the Northwest seeks compassionate residential care workers to support young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide day-to-day care and emotional support, help with education and daily living skills, and work within a structured, therapeutic home environment.

You will build consistent relationships, collaborate with professionals, and contribute to a safe, respectful setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People within 2 years in residential setting.
• INDHP qualification.
• Driving Licence.
• Experience in a children's residential setting (6-12 months) within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Build consistent, positive relationships to help youths feel safe and valued.
• Support with education, routines and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with professionals and external agencies to coordinate care.
• Contribute to a structured, therapeutic home environment.
