Health Recruit Network invites applications for a Residential Care Worker to join a 2-bed EBD children's home in Salisbury. You will provide high-quality, child-centred care and support young people aged 8–17, helping them develop independence and practical life skills.

The role requires empathy, good communication, teamwork and a commitment to safeguarding. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and the position offers a £13.85 hourly wage, plus a £1,000 joining bonus and a £65 sleep-in rate.

Formación

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive.
• Passion for supporting children.

Responsabilidades

• Providing high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people.
• Building positive, trusting relationships and acting as a positive role model.
• Supporting emotional, social and developmental needs.
• Helping young people develop independence and everyday life skills.
• Supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours in a calm and consistent manner.
• Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Supporting young people with daily activities, education and appointments.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant paperwork.
• Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
