You will build positive relationships, provide emotional and practical support, promote independence and help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification recognised by Ofsted).
• Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential setting.
• Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.

The Role

As a Qualified Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people living within our residential home. You will build positive relationships, provide emotional and practical support, promote independence and help create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care in accordance with children's legislation, safeguarding procedures, company policies and Ofsted regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• - Build trusting and meaningful relationships with children and young people.

• - Administer medication in line with company policy and training.
• - Help maintain the home's compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.

Essential Requirements

• - Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification recognised by Ofsted).
• - Minimum 12 months experience working within a children's residential setting.
• - Sound knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
• - Understanding of safeguarding, child protection and behaviour management.
• - Ability to work flexible shifts including sleep‑ins, evenings and weekends.
• - Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• - A positive, resilient and child-focused attitude.
• - Full UK Driving Licence.
