Job summary
Exceptional Care in the Northwest is seeking compassionate, resilient individuals to support young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
You will provide daily care, build trusting relationships, assist with education and routines, and coordinate with professionals to maintain a therapeutic home environment.
Qualifications
- INDHP qualification or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People within 2 years of working in a children's residential setting
- 6-12 months experience within Children's Residential Setting
- Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People within 2 years of working in a children's residential setting (duplicate not counted)
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
- Build consistent, positive relationships that help young people feel safe and valued
- Support with education, routines, and daily living skills
- Work closely with professionals and external agencies
- Contribute to a structured, therapeutic home environment
