Job summary

Pebbles Care Limited is seeking a Residential Child Care Worker to join our dedicated team. You will support children aged 8 to 18 in a home setting, driving them to school and appointments, helping with meals, routines, and activities, including sleepovers.

The role is full-time, averaging 56.4 hours per week with a rota pattern. A full UK manual driving licence is required. In return, we offer a competitive salary, generous holiday, pension, healthcare benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children or young people is preferred.
• Willingness to learn the therapeutic care model and participate in training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to use Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide support tailored to individual needs, one-to-one or two-to-one.
• Drive children to school, appointments, and activities.
• Assist with meals, household tasks, and daily routines.
• Participate in sleepover shifts as required.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development teams for training.
