Job summary

Pebbles Care Limited in the United Kingdom is hiring a Residential Child Care Worker to support children with a therapeutic approach. The role is full-time, averaging 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours, with a rota of two days on (48 hours) and four days off.

You will drive children to school and appointments, help with meals and daily living, and provide one-to-one or two-to-one care within a single home, with occasional support to other homes in the same area.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Experience with children or young people preferred.
• Willingness to develop qualifications in the field.
• Commitment to safeguarding and resilience in challenging scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Drive children to and from school, appointments and visits.
• Provide 1:1 or 2:1 care tailored to each child.
• Work full-time within one home with potential support to others in the area.
• Participate in induction and training with the Learning & Development team.
• Assist with meals, activities, and holidays.
• Work a rota pattern including sleepovers.
