Job summary

Sovereign Network Group in Thatcham, Newbury and Reading locality is hiring a Carpenter Multi. The role involves carrying out all forms of carpentry repairs across our properties, with 1st and 2nd fix work, installing windows/doors, UPVC services, locksmith tasks, fencing, and basic finish carpentry.

A company van and fuel card are provided due to travel between sites. You should have residential carpentry experience, NVQ Level 2 or 5+ years in the trade, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in residential housing carpentry.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or 5+ years of proven carpentry experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs in our properties.
• 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry.
• Install windows, doors, door frames - Internal and external.
• UPVC servicing and installation.
• Locksmithing and entry via lock snapping, drilling and picking.
• All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
• Kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.
• Other duties to include basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and other general maintenance tasks
