Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi to join our Property Team across Newbury, Thatcham & Reading. You will perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, fit windows and doors, service UPVC and handle general repairs in our housing properties.

Travel between sites is required; a company van and fuel card are supplied. NVQ level 2 or 5 years’ proven carpentry experience is preferred, with a strong health and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry within residential/housing sector preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or 5+ years proven carpentry experience.
• Strong health and safety mindset and team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry.
• Install windows, doors, door frames - internal and external.
• UPVC servicing and installation.
• Locksmithing and entry via lock snapping/drilling/picking.
• Fencing – posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
• Kitchen fitting and minor joinery.
• Other maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating.
