Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is recruiting a Male Support Worker for Westbrook House in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a safe, supportive environment.

The role covers evenings, weekends and sleep-ins to promote independence and wellbeing. We offer full training, ongoing development, and a range of benefits including DBS paid for by CareTech and career progression opportunities within a values-driven organisation

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Full training and structured induction provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
