Emponics is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Capital works division, covering planned refurbishment contracts in Cheltenham and the South Cotswolds. You will tender, estimate and measure on site, manage cost plans and collaborate with Contracts Managers to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role involves handling contracts with local authorities, strong client and supplier relations, and proactive cost control using COINS.

Formación

Proven experience in a similar quantity surveying role.
Experience managing a value of works up to £3 million.
Tendering, estimating and measuring on site.
Collaborating with Contracts Manager and clients to deliver projects.

Responsabilidades

Tender, estimate and measure cost on site for contracts and tenders.
Prepare budget cost value reconciliations and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Work with Contracts Manager to agree productivity targets and milestones before contract start.
Build strong client and supplier relations to manage variations and contract progress.
Take purchase, credit and debtor responsibility using COINS to ensure cash flow.
Complete and analyse weekly site reporting for cost information and performance against budget.
Produce monthly contract valuations.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial and commercial aspects of planned works for local authority clients.
