Job summary

Emponics invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor to oversee Capital works contracts from its Bristol Emersons Green base, covering Cheltenham and the South Cotswolds. You will tender, estimate, and measure on-site, manage budgets, and work with Contracts Manager to drive value and mitigate risks.

You will regularly visit sites, handle procurement and debtor responsibilities using COINS, and prepare monthly valuations while contributing to client and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Proven quantity surveying experience.
• Experience managing up to £3 million.
• Strong collaboration with clients and teams.
• Cost-saving mindset and value maximization.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders, highlighting risks and solutions.
• Prepare budget cost value reconciliations, identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Work with Contracts Manager to ensure productivity targets and milestones are set before start.
• Build strong client and supplier relations to manage variations and progress.
• Take purchase, credit and debtor responsibility using COINS.
• Complete and analyse weekly site cost reporting with labour rates and budgets.
• Produce monthly contract valuations.
