Job summary

Emponics is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Capital works division at Bristol Emersons Green, covering Cheltenham and the South Cotswolds. The role focuses on tendering, estimating and measuring costs for refurbishment projects, with commercial oversight across multiple contracts.

You will manage cost estimates, budgets and commercial risks, build strong client/supplier relations and ensure timely valuations, whilst working away from site most weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying for capital works/refurbishment projects.
• Ability to tender, estimate and measure costs for contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control focus.

Responsibilities

• Actively tender, estimate and measure onsite for capital works.
• Prepare budget cost value reconciliations and identify risks.
• Work with Contracts Manager to set milestones and targets.
• Build client and supplier relations and manage variations.
• Take purchase, credit and debtor responsibility using COINS.
• Produce monthly contract valuations.
