Emponics is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to manage capital works contracts in Cheltenham and the South Cotswolds, with potential Bristol-based options. The role focuses on tendering, estimating, and cost control for planned refurbishment projects across local authorities, delivering strong commercial outcomes.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, frequently visiting sites to measure progress, prepare valuations, and ensure cash flow and risk mitigation.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in a similar quantity surveying/project surveying role.
• Experience managing a value of works up to £3 million.
• Inquisitive, organised and collaborative with clients and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Tender, estimate and measure on site for capital works contracts.
• Prepare budget cost value reconciliations and identify commercial risks/opportunities.
• Collaborate with Contracts Manager to set productivity targets and milestones before start.
• Develop and maintain client and supplier relationships to manage variations and contract progress.
• Take responsibility for purchases, credit and debt using COINS to support cash flow.
• Produce weekly site cost reporting and monthly contract valuations.
