Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Remediation Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential building safety and remediation projects across its portfolio. The role emphasizes cladding remediation, external wall systems and fire safety, with client-side oversight and strategic coordination with delivery teams.

You will work closely with surveyors, fire engineers and consultants, ensuring budgets, timelines and compliance are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing residential building safety projects.
• Understanding of cladding remediation and external wall remediation.
• Ability to coordinate with managing agents, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential remediation projects including cladding, external wall systems, fire doors, fire stopping, compartmentation and structural defects.
• Coordinate managing agents, surveyors, fire engineers, contractors and other specialists to maintain progress.
• Review technical reports and ensure the scope of remedial works is understood.
• Monitor milestones, budgets, risks and delivery performance; escalate issues as needed.
• Support compliance with Building Safety Act and leaseholder protections.
• Oversee funding arrangements, including government schemes and landlord contributions.
• Maintain project documentation and audit trails.
• Support resident and stakeholder communications with progress reports.
• Attend residential sites nationwide to monitor progress.
