QSAC seeks a Shift Supervisor for Queens - Residential Group Home to lead staff and support individuals with autism and related needs in a safe, therapeutic setting.

You will supervise daily routines, ensure adherence to treatment plans, manage client allowances, and coordinate with nurses and coordinators to ensure services run smoothly. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• AMAP, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certifications required or aptitude to obtain upon hire.
• 1-2 years OPWDD experience.
• Experience working with I/DD populations.
• Maintain a clean and valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to safely assist lifting individuals and items.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and tailor supports to each person served to promote independence.
• Recognize crises and coordinate with psychiatric/medical backup as needed.
• Ensure program goals are implemented and treatment plans followed.
• Schedule staff, manage personal allowances, and coordinate meals and transportation.
• Maintain certifications and comply with policies; promote safety and welfare of individuals.
