National Autistic Society's Park View in Burnham-on-Sea is seeking a Service Manager to drive high-quality residential care for autistic adults and lead a small team.

You will oversee safeguarding, risk management and continuous improvement, ensuring readiness for inspections and service redesign. The role requires strong leadership, staff development and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy residential setting.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing teams.
• Ideally hold a QCF Level 5 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
• Resilience under pressure and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Full-time role at 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence in service delivery and staff performance.
• Lead safeguarding and risk management processes.
• Lead and develop staff through supervision, appraisals, coaching and mentoring; manage recruitment and onboarding.
