Job summary

Spey Building and Joinery is an established building contractor based in Kingussie. We are working on exciting projects across Scotland and specialise in bespoke residential design. An opportunity has arisen for a capable Architectural Technologist/Technician to complement our team and help deliver Design and Build solutions.

You would be preparing planning applications, building warrant submissions, and providing technical support to our construction colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in practice.
• Strong technical understanding of building design and construction.
• Experience of residential design.
• Confident user of Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, and other graphics programmes.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach.
• Good knowledge of planning application process.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations and technical standards.
