Job summary

Face fit Ltd in Wimborne, Dorset is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join the technical team and drive residential design from planning through detailed technical information and into construction. You will collaborate with Planning, Land, Commercial, Construction and Sales, plus external architects and engineers, ensuring designs are practical, compliant and buildable on site.

This hands-on role suits someone currently at an architectural practice or residential housebuilder

Qualifications

Experience delivering detailed residential construction drawings.
Strong understanding of Building Regulations and residential standards.
Experience coordinating architectural information with engineers and consultants.
Ability to move projects from planning through construction with practical delivery.

Responsibilities

Prepare and develop detailed residential drawings and construction information.
Produce working drawings, construction details and technical packages.
Develop planning layouts into coordinated technical designs.
Ensure drawings comply with Building Regulations and planning requirements.
Coordinate information from structural, civil, M&E engineers and other consultants.
Review consultant drawings for clashes and buildability issues.
Work with commercial and construction teams to ensure pragmatic designs.
Attend design, technical and project meetings as required.
Maintain drawing registers, revisions and technical documentation.
