Job summary

Technical Moves is an established design-led architectural practice in the UK seeking an experienced Architectural Technician. You will work across the full project lifecycle on residential projects, liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to develop concepts through planning and technical design to site completion.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in an architectural practice, strong technical skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an architectural practice.
• Strong experience delivering residential projects.
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Experience across planning, technical design and construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Work predominantly on a range of residential projects.
• Liaise directly with clients and other project stakeholders.
• Develop projects from concept through planning and technical design.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Support projects through construction and onsite completion.
• Contribute to a design-focused and collaborative studio environment.
• Incorporate sustainable and considered design principles throughout the project process.
