Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Lady Jane Court Care Home in Leicester. You will plan and deliver a wide range of activities to enhance residents' physical, psychological and social well-being.

The role requires experience with older people, especially in dementia settings, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to arranging events. DBS check and right to work in the UK will be required.

Qualifications

• Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
• Experience organising activities and events.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a monthly activity and wellbeing plan for residents and submit to the Home Manager.
• Organise activities, events and outings with staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living environment and support the home's positive image.
• Engage residents to promote privacy, dignity, independence, choice and fulfilment.
