Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Derby Heights Care Home in Littleover, Derby. • Experience with older people in residential dementia settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a range of activities to engage residents’ physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to a positive home image.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator, Home Manager and care staff.
• Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
• Establish links with the local community to promote intergenerational activity.
