Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance of building services, ensuring safe, efficient operation of the facility at Oxford.

You will handle HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and associated pipework while adhering to safety and compliance standards. The role requires collaboration with electrical engineers and technicians, with a site-based schedule and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Experience in building services or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Water Hygiene/Legionella awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, pumps, FCUs, AHUs).
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement repairs.
• Engage in minor mechanical installations and system modifications as required.
