Job summary

Dematic is seeking a maintenance technician to support the resident maintenance contract at DHL East Midlands. You will perform AMHE equipment servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis, and adhere to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include recording work, maintaining spares, and contributing to continuous improvement while representing the company professionally on-site.

Qualifications

ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
Basic understanding of control systems and techniques

Responsibilities

Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with quality standards and time schedules
To undertake scheduled repairs per manufacturers' recommendations and industry standards
Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs
Prioritise system faults
Adhere to Health & Safety legislation at all times
Ensure quality of output at all times
Accurately record all work undertaken
Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
Maintain product flow at all times
Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimal levels
Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations
Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures set by the company
Working at height
Understanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
Understanding of FEM and BS standards governing automated warehouse industry
