Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer in Brighton on a permanent basis to manage resident communications during cladding remediation projects. You will act as the primary contact for residents, ensuring they are kept informed and supported while works progress.

The ideal candidate will have prior liaison experience in construction or social housing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with site teams to maintain smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for residents throughout the project.
• Keep residents informed about works, access and programme changes.
• Carry out resident visits and maintain regular communication.
• Handle queries, concerns and complaints professionally.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and management to resolve issues.
• Support residents affected by works and maintain records of communications.
• Assist with newsletters, notices and other communications.
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide high levels of service.

The Role

• Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the project
• Keeping residents informed about upcoming works, access requirements and programme changes
• Carrying out resident visits and maintaining regular communication
• Dealing with queries, concerns and complaints in a professional manner
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and management to resolve issues
• Supporting residents who may be affected by the works
• Maintaining accurate records of resident communication and enquiries
• Assisting with newsletters, notices and other resident communications
• Building positive relationships with residents and ensuring a high level of customer service

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer or similar role
• Experience working within construction, refurbishment or social housing would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and approachable manner
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• The ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• A proactive approach and the ability to work closely with site teams
